Abaris Arabians specializes in amateur and youth riders. We provide
training for both horse and you, and help with your discipline whether it be
Saddleseat, Huntseat, Dressage, Western, or Driving.
We offer lessons for both beginners and experienced riders, and welcome children, teenagers, and adults.
We are welcoming new boarders and clients to our lesson program this winter.
Meet Colleen Ekholm, Instructor
As a dedicated young equestrian, Colleen was enrolled in the Olympic Aspirant Program of the Isaac Royal Farm in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine. There she trained, retrained, and showed horses in such disciplines as dressage, jumping, and eventing.
Admiring the true art of dressage, she went on to study under the well-known Portuguese trainer, Vitor Silva, and continues her study with Olympic French trainer and medalist Jean Luc Cornille.
With her background in Classical Dressage, she can bring your riding to the place where goals can be accomplished for you and your horse.
She also welcomes you to bring in your young horse for training. A great beginning will create a solid foundation for later work.
